Harmony Ear CandlesHarmony ear candles are used to clean ear canals safely and effectively. Ear drops cannot fully penetrate the entire ear canal as the heated smoke from ear candles can. The wax inside the ear is warmed up, loosened, and then pulled up by the vacuum created by the burning ear candle. Harmony ear candles are used on a person with the assistance of another by inserting the small end through a paper plate (not included) and placing that end into the ear. While the person using the ear candle lies sideways (with the ear candle pointing up toward the ceiling), the other person lights the ear candle with a match. When the ear candle burns down to about 3" from the paper plate, the other person, removes it from the ear and puts the fire out by dipping the cone into a glass of water. (Full instructions included with order.) Harmony ear candles are hollow cones, about ten inches long and are are made from 100% unbleached muslin in a high grade, food quality wax (this prevents dripping and crumbling of wax and cloth inside the cone). All Harmony ear candles are made by a mother's hand (and sometimes dad helps out too). Plain ear candles are available as well as those with special herbs and oils. Lavender ear candles contain lavender oil.
Herbal ear candles contain tea tree oil, lavender oil, peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil, and marjoram.
Herbee ear candles are made from beeswax and herbs and specially prepared and take over 6 weeks to make. Over 20 herbs and homeopathic remedies are blended together. The muslin is soaked in the mixture for 6-8 weeks. The muslin is then sun-dried and used to make the herbee ear candles. The beeswax comes from Harmony's own bee farm. All Harmony products are made in the U.S.A.
